Reveal the nature of nuclear cities to the world – a special nomination of the international photo contest “Golden Turtle”.
We invite you to take part in the special nomination of the title partner of the international photo contest “Golden Turtle” – the State Corporation “Rosatom” – “Nature and Biodiversity of Nuclear Cities”.
This nomination is dedicated to wildlife and biodiversity – plants, birds, animals, insects and natural landscapes of modern nuclear cities.
Why you should participate:
– Unique shooting locations in Rosatom cities
– Opportunity to explore the topic of biodiversity in an industrial context
– Chance to get to the finals and present your work at the main wildlife photography exhibition, the Golden Turtle, in Moscow
Competition stages:
1. Submission of works: June 27 – August 12
2. Jury evaluation of applications and shortlist formation: August 13 – 20
3. Publication of the shortlist and public vote: August 25 – September 5
4. Awarding of the winners: October 2025
How to apply:
1. Prepare a photograph reflecting wildlife and biodiversity in the cities where Rosatom State Corporation* is present (maximum distance to the city is 10 km)
2. Create a personal account on the website https://wncontest.ru
3. Upload photographs to the competition in your personal account and fill in information about them before August 6, 2025

On June 27 at 12:00 (MSK) there will be an introductory webinar, which will be held by the President of the International Wildlife Festival "Golden Turtle" Andrey Sukhinin and Olga Shkabardnya, General Director of ANO "Energy of Development" (State Corporation "Rosatom"). During the meeting, the rules and criteria of the Special Nomination will be revealed, advice on how to best prepare a photo work, and a block of answers to questions is planned.
